Contract and Covenant: is the difference really important and does it really matter?

Law Lecturer Jenny Richards laid it out very clearly in her two sessions on this very important issue and shows how it impacts on so many aspects of our lives. Her passion, scholarly approach and her ability to communicate very clearly was evident to all who enjoyed her first session. Stay tuned and we'll let you know how you can get a copy to listen to.

In her third session Jenny is going to open up this issue further in a very practical way, focusing on what it means to live as people of the covenant, instead of people under a contact God that doesn't really exist. It will be a wonderfully inspiring time.

This session will take place at:

The Corner - located on the cnr of Oaklands and Diagonal Rds., Warradale, Adelaide.

When: Tuesday July 7th

The Following Three Tuesdays in July

Perichoresis is conducting a 3-4 week intensive on the following three Tuesdays in July on the 14th, 21st and 28th as well as possibly including a Tuesday in August.  We will keep you posted when the date in August is confirmed.

At these sessions we will be watching the DVD's from the Shack Tour in 2008 with input from William Paul Young (author of The Shack) and C. Baxter Kruger from Perichoresis USA. Those who attended the sessions found them to both be inspiring and challenging as we are forced to examine the basis for our understanding of the gospel. Each evening will consist of about 50 - 60 minutes viewing of one of the sessions followed by a chance for questions and discussion. Tea and coffee will also be available. There will also be a chance for those who wish to be able to purchase the DVD's and audio CD's of the Shack Tour and other series.

Welcome to Perichoresis Australia

We are a community of people who are passionate about Jesus Christ. It is through Him we receive a glimpse into the dynamic love, life and community of the Father, Son and Spirit. Through this one human being we are able to know, receive and participate in the love He receives from the Father and by the Spirit we actually engage in their life of love.

The purpose of this website is to facilitate means of communicating and sharing the truth of Jesus Christ to the widest possible audience. We hope to provide a fresh, clear and livable theology that is most real and practical as well as accessible to the average person. Through circles of friendships, conferences, fellowship, work, interest areas and the arts, we hope to gather as many people and concentrate as many Trinitarian resources as possible in one place.

Though it is taken for granted that theology informs life, many do not realise that life also informs theology.  It is life which embraces and endorses our humanity and human activity.  Engaging and participating in the glory of God is not just a theological, mental  exercise.  It is so much more than that.  All aspects of active human life that are fruitful towards loving relationships have its foundation in the heart of the Triune God.  In Jesus Christ we have been included in this dynamic and active life where the love of God has penetrated and filled all things human. This even includes the often simplest day to day activities through to family and working relationships, friends and the wider communities.  God is all in all.

The site will offer different information and opportunities to interact in each particular section. Some material will be available generally, and you also be able to register for access to all online materials. Additionally we will have various resources available to purchase from our store. It is a working progress so stay tuned.
