When deciding on prices for our products we have tried to consider people from all cultures and from all economic blocks throughout the world. 

We are aware that we are a shop in the international mall of the world wide web. We desire that all people from all walks of life have the opportunity to take advantage of the material we have available. Our primary vision is that we see people transformed through the gospel message according to God as Father, Son and Spirit, to the very ends of the earth. On the other hand, we have to also consider the speakers we invite to our conferences as well as the people we send interstate and overseas.  There are the cost of airfares, hire of venues, transport, flyers, remuneration and numerous other incidentals when organising such events. 

In addition to this, there are production costs if we are to video record to produce material such as we have with Paul Young's The Shack, Bruce Wauchope's Gospel and Mental Health and Trinity, Relationships and Sexuality, Baxter Kruger's Trinitarian Theology and Real Reconciliation which run into tens of thousands of dollars as well as have in DVD and high quality download format. The decision on what to charge was taken very seriously and something we all thought long and hard about.  We are trying to achieve a good balance of free material as well as offer material at a price that is accessible to anyone any where in the world.  We charge $2/CD equivalent download for all audios that are produced by Perichoresis Australia.  For example, if there are three CD's in the package, they would normally cost $15 plus postage.  For download, they would cost $6.  For video download we work in a similar way and offer the sets in bite size chunks.  However, they cost significantly more to produce and have converted to a suitable format for download and many hours to upload.  All of which bear a significant cost. 

There are a number of products that are charged at a level of which we have no control over. We have carefully researched what is on offer with other sites and how they work.  Our main concern with subscriptions is they only are reachable by those in the more affluent countries.  If one cannot afford the subscription, they are excluded.  Some offer packages where the more you pay, the more included you are.  On other sites, the teaching material is often charged at a level that  is often out of reach of most people I know.  This is also exclusive.  Yet, after reading the information on these websites, they fall far short of what the gospel is about according to the Person and work of Jesus Christ where the truth is turned into an untruth of sorts. The gospel in this form is exclusive. We are truly passionate about what we have on offer and have the utmost confidence in the quality of the material as truly reflecting the biblical gospel message. 

When we came to a final decision on the price, what we are really asking is more of a suggested donation than a cost as such.  We are a shop front on the International shopping mall and would like to cater to as may people as possible form all cultures and economic blocks.  We have opted for an international outreach with a significantly lower cost to the customer. We have chosen not to offer subscriptions at varying cost as this may exclude people from being able to access our material. We also acknowledge we do not 'own' the gospel as such.  Yet, a worker deserves his wages as Paul also testifies. 

To not charge, would risk muzzling this whole project where we would have no choice but to exclude billions from facilitating access to material through the world wide web. The building of this website was no small feat.  The final product is a result of many thousands of hours of preparation before we could even move forward.  Once we had the framework, many more thousand of hours were spent building the site with content and ironing out all the bugs while involving numerous people from around the country and advice and feedback by people within our community on this site.  It truly has been a process of blood, sweat and tears for many of us.  In addition, the cost has been significant. The primary purpose is to pave the way for literally billions to be included. We are continually looking for ways and means to improve the quality of audio and video.  Finally, we are a non-profit organisation where all monies received are ploughed back into the project of gospel and everything associated with promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ through it. The purpose of this appeal is directed to those who are in a position to help and give according to what the Spirit leads them to do.
