Director, C. Baxter Kruger, Ph.D Perichoresis is an international fellowship of Christian men and women who are moved by Jesus’ passion for his Father to be known. Out of this passion is emerging a recovery of the gospel of the Triune God and an outreach to the world. In the United States we are a registered 501c3 nonprofit corporation, based in Jackson, Mississippi. We have a sister ministry in Adelaide, Australia and are associated with Incarnation Ministries in Vancouver, B. C.
Our Mission: • To recover the Christ-centered, trinitarian gospel of the ancient Church, and understand its relevance to human life today. • To articulate the truth of our adoption in Jesus Christ in practical and personal ways that are relevant and accessible to the average person. • To think through the personal, relational, global, historical, political, economic, religious, scientific and cosmic implications of Jesus’ identity as the Father’s Son, the Anointed One, and the One in and through and by and for whom all things were created and are sustained. • To stimulate cross-discipline dialog centered upon the early Church’s vision of Jesus Christ and his central place in the cosmos. • To share the truth of our adoption in Jesus Christ with the widest possible audience, through relationships, publications, teaching,, web site, conferences, and through equipping leaders and teachers, musicians and artists, pastors and missionaries around the world. What We Believe: We believe in the Triune God, Father, Son and Spirit, and we believe that this Triune God created, reconciled and embraced the world in Jesus Christ, as it was eternally purposed. We believe Jesus Christ is the Father's eternal Son, very God of very God, our Lord and Savior, who became human and now lives forever as the incarnate Son in relationship with His Father in the Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the vicarious man, in whom the Triune God, the human race and the cosmos are not separated but bound together in relationship. Though his incarnate life, death, resurrection and ascension he gathered humanity in himself, reconciled us and included us in the Trinitarian life of God. We believe the Holy Spirit is fully divine, equal to the Father and Son and that His passion is communion. We believe he was sent by the Father and Son to reveal the truth to us until we are set free from all forms of darkness. We believe the Church is called to participate in the Holy Spirit’s mission of revelation and healing, until the Son’s communion with his Father fills the earth as the waters cover the seas. A Note on the Word Perichoresis Genuine acceptance removes fear and hiding and creates freedom to know and be known. In this freedom arises a fellowship and sharing so honest and open and real that persons involved dwell in one another. There is union without loss of individual identity. When one weeps, the other tastes salt. It is only in the Triune relationship of Father, Son and Spirit that personal relationship of this order exists, and the early church used the word "perichoresis" to describe it. The good news is that we have been included in this relationship and it is to be played out fully in each of us and in all creation.
